Job Description

• Provide a welcoming environment as members and visitors come into church by assisting with the door, giving directions and handing out specified material.

Volunteer Responsibilities

• Arrive at church foyer 30 minutes before your scheduled worship service

• Take initiative to greet with a smile.

• Hand out bulletins, event materials or special notices.

• Orient newcomers to the building

• If you are not familiar with the visitor, say "I don't think I've met you yet, I'm {insert name}."

• If they are new, offer them a Welcome Packet and point out where restrooms are located. 

• Direct kids to Kid's Wing or offer a Kid's folder (if applicable)

Reoccurrence of Serving

• Greeters serve 1 Sunday per month (or less).

• Volunteers commit to serve in this position for 1 year at a time.
