Food Pantry Volunteer

Job Description

• Provide food and supplies to the Lawrence County community who can receive assistance through the NHCC Food Pantry.

Volunteer Responsibilities

• Inventory food and supplies found in the pantry

• Remove food items that have passed their expiration date.

• Hand out food boxes to those who come fitting the specified criteria: Lawrence County Resident, receive food once a month from NHCC

Reoccurrence of Serving

• Volunteers in this position serve as needed on Food Pantry Days: Tuesday and Friday mornings from 9-11 am and on special holiday basket distribution days around Thanksgiving and Christmas.
