Driven Slides and Tech


Job Description

  • Assist in the Sound Booth by running the computer, sound board and or lights during the group gathering at Driven.


Volunteer Responsibilities

  • On Driven evenings, arrive at the sound booth by 5:45 where Computer Slides will be ready in ProPresenter for the evening

  • Sound tech should turn on sound system, prepare a microphone and turn on the stage lights.

  • Follow along with the Driven Schedule to give tech support (lights/volume control) as needed.

  • Respond to scheduling requests or find replacement for your position if needed.


Reoccurrence of Serving

  • Driven volunteers serve once per month during the school year.

  • Volunteers commit to serve in this position for 1 year at a time.


  • NHCC runs a background check for anyone who works with NHCC children & youth programs. We request a new background check every two years for volunteers who continue to help in these areas. The background check is confidential and has no cost for the volunteer.

Mandated Reporter Training

  • Any adult volunteer in our children & youth programs is considered a “mandated reporter.”  Before serving with children, NHCC requires a free training for volunteers.

  • Free online training is available through DCFS.  Click here to access the training, which takes about 1 hour to complete.
