Spring Small Groups

Entry Point | Join this group for the opportunity to know about NHCC beliefs, practices or how you can become more involved. You are invited to participate this Spring to really get to know about your church. Ending April 13th. Facilitated by Bill Cox at NHCC.

Come to the Table | Common Interest Group | Join this group to enjoy a Sunday lunch, great time in fellowship and discussion about New Hope’s Sunday sermon from that day. Ending date: April 13th. Facilitated by Andy & Whitney Millis

 

In Her Shoes | Motherhood lessons from Biblical Women | Book-based study | Every woman's path to motherhood is different, including the mothers in the Bible. In this study, using the book In Her Shoes from Driven by Grace, you will dive into God's Word and learn life lessons from five biblical mothers that you can apply to your life. Whether you are a new mother or a seasoned one, take some time to learn from these amazing women and let their stories inspire you to be the best mother you can be. Ending March 7th. Facilitated by Whitney Millis at New Hope Christian Church.

Sisters Six Sunday Snack and Study Sessions | A book study for women. Reading through Lysa Terkeurst’s book, I Want to Trust You, but I Don’t. Learning solid Principles in Scripture that can help you navigate relationships with other people. Understanding what the Bible says about trusting God and others and much more! End date: April 27th. Facilitated by Jeannie Vaughn at the Vaughn homestead, located in Lawrenceville.

Walking by Faith | A Common-Interest Group. Meeting together to walk, grow relationships and spend time in prayer. Don’t forget your walking shoes! 5:45pm at Red Hills State Park. Continuing every Monday until weather does not cooperate. Facilitated by Tonya Hill.

Year Round Groups

Q and A | Bible Study | You have questions about the Bible? Let’s discover the answers. Bring your questions for a thoughtful discussion, discovering what the Bible reveals.

  • Meeting the last Wednesday evening of the month. 6pm.

  • Led by Bill Cox at New Hope Christian Church

Common Ground | No matter your background, your age, your status, or where you are in your faith, we can still come together with Christ as our Common Ground, our firm foundation. Join with this group to find community and be challenged from God’s Word.

  • Sundays from 9:50-10:30am (Sunday School hour) in the Fellowship Hall at New Hope.

  • Meets all year long- diving into a variety of topical series and discussions.

  • Refreshments provided.

  • Children’s Sunday School classes coincide with Common Ground.

The Breakfast Club | Hang out with your Peers. Eat Breakfast. Engage in convos & discover what Christ says about a variety of topics that are especially relatable to your age group! 

  • For High School seniors to Young Adults

  • TBC is an on-going group that meets Sunday mornings at Spencer & Jeannie Vaughn’s home.

  • This group is always welcome to having new members come.

  • From 9:30am-10:30am | finished in time to make it to New Hope’s 10:45am service

Women’s Bible Study | contributing in thoughtful discussion while studying through a book of the Bible. Currently reading the book of 1st Corinthians. This group meets all year long and welcomes new members to join! Led by Linda Bellville.

  • Welcoming all women. This group is always welcome to having new members come.

  • Meets weekly on Tuesday, from 9am-10:30am at Linda Bellville’s home

His Faithful Coffee House ~Brewing Bold Relationships in Christ | Common Interest Group | Hang-out with like-minded individuals! This time and space is provided for you to be intentional about carving out time to grow in your relationship with Christ. The evenings will have no specific plan, so come prepared to individualize the time with your own learning style and preference * Pray * Read His Word * Journal * Bring headphones, phone or IPads - if you prefer to learn through videos. Indoor and outdoor seating options available. Coffee will always be served but you are welcome to bring your own beverage, meal or snack.

  • 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 6pm-7:30pm.

  • Facilitated and hosted by Spencer & Jeannie Vaughn at the Vaughn’s home, located in Lawrenceville.

Sunday School Hour

9:50am-10:30am | Sunday

Adults & Students of all ages have the opportunity to participate in a class-type setting. Studying through the Bible.

  • Preacher’s Class: Meets in the Preacher’s Office in the Hallway

  • Alan’s Adult Class: Meets in the Foyer Classroom

  • High School: Meets in the Youth House

  • Kindergarten-1st, 2nd-3rd, 4th-5th, 6th-8th: Meet in the Kid’s Wing

  • Nursery available for littles-PreK
