Job Description

  • Lead 2nd, 3rd & 4th grade students through an interactive Bible lesson and fun activities.

  • Oversee and direct Jr Helpers.

Volunteer Responsibilities

  • Review the lesson plan via Facebook Messenger/email: look over the lesson and prepare for Sunday.

  • On Sunday morning, arrive by 8:00 (1st service) or 10:20 (2nd service) to setup classroom supplies and materials.

  • Communicate any lesson details to your Jr helper.

  • Welcome each child and parent as they enter the room with a smile. (Student should have checked in and have a nametag)

  • Lead the activities & Bible lesson provided in the supplied lesson plan.

  • Always check nametags for allergies before handing out any snacks.

  • At dismissal, greet parents at the door and call children to the door to release them to parents with matching labels. (No child leaves unattended and all parents/guardians must have a matching name tag or the child will not be released!) If anyone has misplaced their nametag, grab assistance from the Check-In Volunteer.
