Continue the good work
Pray: We hope you have been praying for the students you have chosen to connect with. Continue to do this and follow up on those requests they share with you.
Be open and honest: Being yourself will go far in building a relationship. Be real.
Be patient and don't get discouraged: the goal is that youth would feel known, valued and loved. It's a work in progress.
