Our next Decision Sunday is coming up on Sunday, April 20th!

 This year we are making Resurrection Sunday a Decision Sunday.  The most important decision you will ever make in your life is whether to accept Christ Jesus, the Son of God, as your Lord and Savior.  This decision is the most important because it carries with it eternal consequences.  Where do you want to spend eternity?  With the Lord Jesus, or with the Devil?  There are only two choices.

     The Apostle Paul writes in Romans 6 that when we are baptized into Christ Jesus we are “baptized into His death.  We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.  If we have been united with Him like this in death, we will certainly also be united with Him in His resurrection.”  

     If you have not done so, why not make Resurrection Sunday your Decision Sunday?  Why not make Resurrection Sunday the day you unite with Jesus in the likeness of His death, burial, and resurrection by being baptized into Him?  Why not make it the day you begin to live a new life in Him?  And if you have already been immersed into Christ and you’re looking for a church to call home, why not make New Hope your home church?  We’d love to have you be a part of our family!

     Decisions, decisions, decisions!  They are all around us.  But none are more important than what you will do about Jesus.  If you have questions about making a decision for Him, questions about baptism, questions about membership, whatever, come see me or give me a call.  This is the type of decision you do not want to put off.  2 Corinthians 6:2 says, “I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.”  Make it your day of salvation!
